Jaces day nurse Lisa. She was so awesome. Jace hated when they had to take the tape off and so Lisa gave him a tub of water to soak his arm in so it wouldn't hurt when it was taken off.She also put the medicine in his IV just right so it wouldn't hurt. Jace also learned to unhook himself from the machine so he could go walking when he wanted. Thats when Lisa said he had stayed to long and it was time to go home. Once you learn to disconnect and reconnect yourself from the machines you need to go.(He was so proud of himself for figuring that out). He also took his own IV out and insisted on keeping what was attached to his arm for his scrapbook. Maybe he will be the doctor in the family. We love you Nurse Lisa! Thanks for making our hospital experience a good one. Jace also had another favorite nurse Brigette that was on the night shift but she escaped without a picture. These nurses at Sunrise hospital will always hold a special place in our hearts.
